Paid bookings

Updated 17 July 2026

Give a session type a price and clients pay when they book. This article follows a paid booking end to end.

What the client sees

In the app (and on your web app), the booking screen works the same way:

  1. Pick a session type - your active session types with their image, duration, price and location.
  2. Pick a day - a month calendar highlights the days that have open slots, with arrows to move between months. Past days and full days are not selectable.
  3. Pick a time - tapping a day reveals its slot grid, shown in the client's own local time.
  4. Confirm and pay - free sessions confirm instantly. Priced sessions open a secure Stripe Checkout page; the booking is held as pending payment and becomes confirmed the moment payment succeeds. If the client abandons checkout, the slot is released rather than lost.

Payments arrive in your connected Stripe account, the same one used by your shop and paid events, so complete Stripe onboarding before pricing sessions.

What you see

The Calendar tab shows every booking in a month or week grid, colour-coded by status, with an agenda list of upcoming sessions beneath. Click a booking to open its drawer:

  • Client, session type, date and time, and the meeting link for video sessions.
  • Payment status for paid sessions.
  • Status actions: mark completed, mark no show, or cancel with a reason. Cancelling notifies the client.
  • A private notes timeline for that booking.

You can also create bookings by hand with New booking: pick a session type, a member and one of your available slots. Manual bookings skip payment, which is handy for comped or legacy clients.

Tip: reminders go out to clients automatically ahead of their sessions, so you do not need to chase confirmed bookings manually.

Statuses at a glance

  • Pending payment - checkout started but not finished.
  • Confirmed - booked (and paid, where relevant).
  • Completed / No show / Cancelled - set by you from the booking drawer.
