Availability
Updated 17 July 2026
Your availability decides which time slots clients can book. Open Bookings and switch to the Availability tab. It has two parts: your recurring weekly hours, and one-off overrides for specific dates.
Weekly hours
The weekly editor lists Monday to Sunday. Days with no hours read "Unavailable"; for each day you work:
- Click Add hours on that day's row.
- Adjust the start and end times. Changes save as soon as you confirm a time.
- Add a second window on the same day for split shifts, for example 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00.
- Remove a window with the cross next to it.
One timezone applies to the whole schedule; set it with the dropdown at the top-right of the weekly hours card. Your hours stay anchored to that timezone, and clients always see slots converted to their own local time.
Overrides
Overrides handle exceptions to the weekly pattern:
- Day off - pick a date, leave the mode on "Day off" and click Add override. No slots will be offered that day, whatever your weekly hours say.
- Custom hours - switch the mode to "Custom hours", set a start and end time, and add. That date uses those hours instead of the weekly ones.
Upcoming overrides are listed below the form and can be removed with the bin icon. Only today or future dates can be added.
Tip: add holiday overrides as soon as you book the holiday. Slots are offered to clients in real time, so an un-blocked week can fill while you are not looking.
How slots are generated
Kinflo combines three things to produce the slot list clients see:
- Your weekly hours (adjusted by any override for the day).
- The session type being booked: its duration decides slot length, and its before/after buffers pad each booking (see Session types).
- Your existing bookings, which block their time so double-booking is impossible.
The result is a clean grid of open times in the client's own timezone. When you complete or cancel a booking, the freed time becomes bookable again automatically.
Checking your setup
The quickest sanity check is the Calendar tab, where all bookings appear in month or week view, or the client-side booking screen itself: open your own app, pick a session type and confirm the slots on the month calendar match what you expect.
