Getting paid: connect Stripe
Updated 17 July 2026
Kinflo uses Stripe Connect for creator payments. You connect your own Stripe account once, and from then on shop orders, paid event tickets and paid bookings are charged through it. Payouts go straight from Stripe to your bank.
Kinflo takes no cut of your revenue. Your Kinflo subscription is the only thing you pay us; sales income is yours, minus Stripe's own card-processing fees, which Stripe charges on every transaction as they would for any business.
Connect your account
- Open Storefront and switch to the Settings tab, then choose Payments in the left menu.
- On the Stripe card, click Connect Stripe.
- You are taken to Stripe's onboarding flow to enter your business details, identity information and bank account. This is Stripe's standard verification and usually takes a few minutes.
- When you finish, you are returned to the dashboard and the card shows your connection status.
If you started onboarding but did not finish, the button reads Finish setup and takes you back to where you left off. Once your account is fully enabled it reads Manage on Stripe, which opens your Stripe dashboard for payouts, disputes and account settings.
Tip: until Stripe onboarding is complete, members cannot pay for direct products, paid events or paid bookings, so connect Stripe before you publish anything with a price.
What runs through this account
- Shop orders for physical and digital products (checkout is processed in USD; the prices you enter on products are shown to customers in US dollars).
- Paid event tickets, in the currency you set per event.
- Paid bookings for coaching sessions, in the currency you set per session type.
Affiliate products never involve payment in your app, so they work without Stripe.
Watching the money
- Refunds for shop orders are issued from the order drawer (see Orders and fulfilment) and processed by Stripe.
- Your creator revenue summary, including your Stripe Connect balance, lives in Settings under Billing in the dashboard.
- Everything else, payout schedules, bank details and statements, is managed in Stripe itself via Manage on Stripe.
Troubleshooting
If the Payments card says Stripe keys are not configured, or the Connect button errors, your Kinflo workspace has a configuration issue rather than a Stripe one; contact Kinflo support and we will sort it.
