How members buy

Once your products are published and Stripe is connected, members can buy without ever leaving your app. Here is the journey from their side, so you know what you are shipping to them.
Browsing and the cart
Members open the Shop section of your app, browse products (organised by your categories), and open a product page to see its image gallery, description and price. If the product has variants, they pick a value for each option, for example a size and a colour, before adding it to the cart. The cart supports multiple items and quantities.
Checkout
At checkout, members with a physical item in the cart enter a shipping address. Kinflo makes repeat purchases fast:
- Saved addresses - members can save an address the first time they buy ("save this address" is on by default for their first order) and pick from their saved addresses on every order after that.
- Payment - payment is collected with Stripe's native payment sheet inside the app. It accepts cards and, where the member's device supports them, Apple Pay and Google Pay, so most purchases are a single tap.
Prices are shown and charged in USD. Digital-only orders skip the address step entirely.
After the purchase
- The member sees an order confirmation screen in the app.
- The order appears instantly in your dashboard's Orders tab, marked Paid (see Orders and fulfilment).
- Digital products are delivered to the member automatically; no action needed from you.
- Physical products wait for you to mark them shipped. The member can follow their order, including any tracking number you add, from the Orders area of the app.
Tip: test the full flow yourself before launch. Publish a cheap product, buy it in the app with Stripe's test card if your workspace is in test mode, and watch the order arrive on the dashboard.
Affiliate products are different
Affiliate products do not go through checkout at all. Tapping one opens the external store you linked, and Kinflo records the click so you can see interest in the Products table. There is no order, payment or fulfilment on your side.
What members cannot do
Members cannot see draft or unpublished products, cannot buy out-of-stock physical products, and cannot pay until your Stripe onboarding is complete, covered in Getting paid: connect Stripe.
