Adding products
Updated 17 July 2026
Open Storefront in the sidebar, then click Add Product in the top-right. The dropdown offers three product kinds: Physical Product, Digital Product and Affiliate Product. Whichever you pick, the product drawer opens with that type preselected (you can still switch with the Product type control inside).
Physical and digital products
Fill in the drawer:
- Title - required.
- Description - optional.
- Price (USD) - required. Checkout is processed in US dollars.
- Stock - physical products only. Leave it blank for unlimited stock; set a number and the product automatically shows an "Out of Stock" badge when it reaches zero. Digital products are always unlimited.
- Category - pick from your categories, or "No category". See Categories.
- Images - upload one or more. The first image becomes the cover; use the left/right arrows on each image row to reorder, and the bin icon to remove one.
- Variants - add options like Size or Colour. Each variant has an option name and comma-separated values, for example "Size" with "S, M, L". Members pick a value for each option at checkout.
- Published - the visibility switch. Off means the product is saved as a Draft and hidden from members; on makes it live in the app.
Click Create product (or Save changes when editing).
Affiliate products
Affiliate products link out to an external store instead of selling through your app. Clicks are tracked, but there is no in-app checkout and no price or stock.
Paste the product link into Affiliate URL. When you leave the field, Kinflo fetches the product's image, title and description from the link automatically, so most affiliate products need almost no typing. The Products table shows click counts for affiliate items instead of stock.
Managing the product list
The Products tab shows every product with its cover image, name, category, price, stock, status badge (Active, Draft or Out of Stock) and type badge (Physical, Digital or Affiliate). From here you can:
- Search, and filter by category, status and type.
- Click a row to edit it in the drawer.
- Use the row's three-dot menu to Edit, Publish/Unpublish or Delete.
- Tick multiple rows and use the bulk bar to Publish or Unpublish several products at once.
Tip: keep new products as drafts until images and variants are right, then publish. Unpublishing is instant and non-destructive, so it is also the quickest way to pull a product temporarily.
Styling the shop
Product card layout, sale badges and the product page design are set in the Style Manager under the Storefront feature scope, with a live phone preview. To get paid for direct products you will also need Stripe connected; see Getting paid: connect Stripe.
