Team

Updated 17 July 2026

You do not have to run your app alone. The Team section of Settings manages who can access your Kinflo dashboard, separate from the members of your app itself.

Invite a teammate

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar and choose Team.
  2. Click Invite Team Member.
  3. Enter their email address and send the invitation.

The new person appears in the team table with a Pending status badge until they accept. Once they create their account and join, the badge switches to Active.

The team table

Each row shows the teammate's name, email, role badge, the date they were invited, and their status:

  • Active (green): they have accepted and can sign in.
  • Pending (amber): the invitation is still waiting. Use the Resend action on the row to send the invitation email again if it got lost.

Dashboard roles

The Role Permissions panel under the table spells out what each role can do:

  • Owner: full access to all settings, billing and team management. The owner cannot be removed.
  • Admin: manage content, users, marketing and most settings, with no billing access.
  • Moderator: moderate content and manage community users; cannot change app configuration.
  • Member: read-only dashboard access for viewing analytics and content.

In practice, most teams need just owners and admins in the dashboard. Note that dashboard sign-in is restricted to owners and admins; moderators do their work inside your app rather than here. For how roles apply to your app's members, see Roles and permissions.

Tip: invite teammates with the least access they need. A virtual assistant scheduling push notifications needs admin, but someone who only reviews numbers is safer with read-only access.

Removing access

The owner can remove team members who no longer need access. If you as the owner are stepping away entirely, use Transfer Ownership in the Danger zone to hand the app to another team member; the owner role itself cannot simply be deleted.
