Student progress
Updated 17 July 2026
Open Courses in the sidebar and switch to the Student Progress tab to see every enrolment across all of your courses in one table.
Reading the table
Each row is one student's enrolment in one course (a member taking two courses appears twice):
- Student - name, username and avatar.
- Course - which course the enrolment belongs to.
- Enrolled - the date they enrolled.
- Progress - a percentage with a progress bar. The bar turns green at 100%.
Progress reflects how much of the course the student has completed: their finished videos and exercises across the course's modules. If you enabled Allow manual module completion in the course's settings, students can also mark modules done themselves, which counts towards this figure.
Filtering and sorting
- Use the All Courses dropdown to focus on a single course.
- Use the Search students box to find someone by name or username.
- Click the Progress column header to flip between highest-first and lowest-first sorting. Lowest-first is the quickest way to find students who have stalled.
Export to CSV
Click Export CSV in the top-right of the filter bar. The download respects your current course filter and search, and contains columns for Student, Username, Course, Enrolled date and Progress percentage. The file is named with today's date, for example student-progress-2026-07-17.csv.
Tip: a monthly export makes a simple engagement report. Compare the same course month over month to see whether completion is improving after content changes.
Using the data
Some practical ways creators use this tab:
- Spot drop-off - if many students stall at a similar percentage, the module at that point may be too long or unclear. Consider splitting it or adding a shorter video, then edit it in the course editor.
- Celebrate finishers - students at 100% have earned any completion reward you configured. They are also your best source of testimonials.
- Nudge the quiet ones - message students with low progress from the Messages section, or target a push notification at course students from Marketing.
When the table is empty
"No enrolments yet" simply means nobody has started a course. Enrolments appear as soon as a member opens a published course in the app, whether it is free or one they have paid for (see Pricing courses).
