Colours, fonts and global styles

Global styles are the foundation of your app's look. Open the Style Manager, stay on the Styles tab, and leave the Scope dropdown on Global. The accordion sections below cover everything that applies app-wide. Open a section and the phone preview switches to the screen where you can best see its effect.

Colour Palette

Your brand colours: the primary colour used for buttons, links and active states, plus backgrounds, surfaces and accents, with values for both light and dark themes. Change the primary colour and watch it ripple through every button and highlight in the preview.

Typography

Controls your app's type: which fonts are used for headings, body text and UI elements, and their sizing. The fonts available here include your own uploads, add custom font files in the Branding tab and they appear in the Typography pickers, see Branding: logo, icon and app name.

Buttons

Shape, corner radius and styling for the buttons your members tap everywhere in the app. Because buttons appear on nearly every screen, small changes here have a big effect on the app's personality, sharper corners feel utilitarian, rounder ones feel friendly.

The supporting cast

The remaining global sections handle the details that make an app feel considered:

• Avatars, size and shape of member profile images.
• Headers & Status Bar, how screen headers look and how the phone's status bar is treated.
• Inputs & Forms, text fields, borders and focus states for every form in the app.
• Tabs & Segments, the styling of in-screen tab switchers.
• Miscellaneous, the odds and ends of visual polish.

Theme Mode

The Theme Mode section decides how your app handles light and dark:

• Light only or Dark only locks the app to one theme.
• User toggle lets each member choose.
• System default follows the member's phone setting.

When members can choose, a light/dark toggle appears above the phone preview so you can check your palette in both themes before saving.

Saving and what happens next

Nothing applies until you press Save in the header. When you do, your styles are written to your app's configuration and your live app restyles itself within seconds, on the device preview, in the web app and for your members. Cmd-Z undoes a wrong turn, and the History drawer can revert to any earlier save.
