Posts and the feed
Updated 17 July 2026
The Community section is where your app's social feed lives. Open Community in the sidebar and you land on the Posts tab, with Spaces, Moderation and Settings alongside it.
Publish a post from the dashboard
- Click Create Post in the top-right of the Community page.
- (Optional) Click the Choose space pill to file the post into one of your spaces. Members see the space's coloured dot on the post.
- Write your update in the What's happening? box.
- Use the image and video buttons in the footer to attach media. You can attach several files, and remove any with the bin icon on its thumbnail.
- Click Publish. The post appears in your members' feed straight away.
If you are not ready to publish, click Save draft instead. Your drafts live behind the My drafts button in the composer footer, where you can reopen, finish or delete them later.
Tip: members create posts from the mobile and web app too, including polls if you have polls enabled. The dashboard composer is for your own announcements and updates.
Manage the feed
The Posts tab lists every post in your community with its author, content preview, space, comment count and date. From here you can:
- Search by content or author using the search box.
- Filter by space with the All Spaces dropdown.
- Sort by date by clicking the Date column header.
- Open a post by clicking its row. The detail view shows the full post with its likes and comments, so you can see exactly what members see.
- Use the three-dot menu on a row to View post, View user info (opens the member's profile drawer) or Delete post.
Posts with attachments show small media thumbnails in the Content column, and posts containing a poll are marked with a blue Poll badge.
Deleting posts
Choose Delete post from a row's three-dot menu and confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes the post for every member, so use the Moderation queue first if you want a record of why content was removed.
Who can post in the app
By default every member can post. If you turn the Posts / Feed toggle off in Community settings, only moderators and admins can create posts, which turns the feed into a broadcast channel.
Styling the feed
The look of feed cards (corner radius, spacing, the like icon and so on) is controlled in the Style Manager, not on this page. Open Style Manager, set the feature scope dropdown to Community, and edit the Feed Cards and Like Icon sections with a live phone preview beside you.
